Carlito

I have been volunteering with a no-kill shelter in New Orleans, Animal Rescue New Orleans, since October of 2005. I mostly volunteer as the webmaster, and for good reason-I tend to show up to help and leave with a critter. That's how I got Carlito. I was cleaning cat cages one day and I had to clean Carlito's cage. I took him out, put him in another cage, and he was just so chilled. He had such an easy-going personality, I just had to have him. He was about 6 months old when I adopted him.

Carlito had a bit of a bug when I first adopted him, which meant that he literally pooped everywhere, all the time, on everyone and everything. And he farted. And he liked to bite. He was lucky he was so dang cute... :)

Carlito likes to play with Bebe, and by that I mean Bebe likes to drag him all over the house and Carlito seems to not care. All his poopy issues are fixed and he is a very happy kitteh. He likes to sit on the deck on my dad's rocking chair and he loves ripping apart anything he can, which is why I invested in several cat scratch thingies when I bought new furniture. He loves those carboard scratchers and my furniture is still in one piece.
