A few years ago, I was shopping at Jefferson Feed on in River Ridge, LA where I lived at the time, looking for bones for Petey. Every week, they would bring pedigree pups in for the public to look at and adopt. One week, there were several pug mix puppies. I loved up on all of them and left. I had been wanting another dog for a while, since Petey was so attached to my dad at this point that it was like I didn't have a dog at all anymore.
The next week when I went back to buy more bones, Bebe was still there. I asked about the pups and they said she was still available, and she was $500. Yikes. I didnt care. I picked her up and was in love. I whipped out my credit card and said "I want her".
Bebe is 75% pug and 25% beagle, so she is not a true puggle, but I am ok with that. She has all the best qualities of a pug-that pug face and tail-but has the straight legs and energy of a beagle. And man does she have energy. She runs around like a cheetah and loves to climb. Her favorite place to chill is on the top of the couch back. She even hops up on the coffee table sometimes :)
Petey wasn't quite sure what to think of her at first. He was the only dog for 10 years, so it was an adjustment having a tiny monkey dog chasing him around all of the time, but he just lets it all go. Bebe is very, very attached to me and is an attention hog in regards to my attention. She is also stupid, crazy cute. Seriously.
